ValPhone for Salesforce

ValPhone is a major upgrade to a Salesforce System. You'll be able to call and text whether from Valstorm, in Salesforce or on the ValPhone Mobile App. All the data syncs back to Salesforce for a seamless contact center experience


Using Tasks to find calls

  • Managing the tasks
    • Keep the Due Missed calls and Due Voicemail task lists at 0
    • Have the team mark the task as completed if they get back to that person
  • Potential to automate in salesforce (internal tech team responsible for implementing)

Getting Started - No Phone System Yet

This will greatly streamline your setup. Valstorm Support will do the following for you

  1. Install and configure the Valstorm Managed Package
  2. Install the ValRM and ValPhone for Salesforce Apps in your Valstorm Account
  3. Sync your contacts and/or person accounts to the Valstorm

We may identify you have duplicate contacts. This causes serious tracking issues, which our team can fix. Cleaning up duplicate contacts comes at a one time fee starting at $2,500. Adding in a future proof system to prevent further duplicates can be added on as well, again starting at $2,500 but these fees are dependent on the health and complexity of your salesforce setup.

Getting Started - Existing Phone System

In addition to what is mentioned above, we will need to

  1. Migrate your Calling and/or Texting functionality to ValPhone
  2. Migrate any automations you had in place for texting

Migrating texting automations is a one time fee starting at $2,500.

** The one time salesforce fees are not required. If you have salesforce development resources, this can be managed by your team. However, Valstorm has completed this work many times so it is beneficial to use us for the migration so your team can focus on learning how to maintain Salesforce and improve its integration with ValPhone

Troubleshooting

No Phone Access inside the ValPhone Utility

Issue

After opening the ValPhone utility, you may find that you cannot access the phone features after logging into the App.

Solution

If you're already logged in, refresh the Salesforce page. Valphone logins are usually required once a week. If this doesn't work, contact support or assistance.
