List Filters are one of the most powerful ways to personalize your ValStorm experience. They allow you to control which records are displayed and how those records are presented across the application's supported record views.
Whether you're organizing contacts, prioritizing tickets, or scheduling events, List Filters help you quickly return to the information that's most important to your workflow.
A List Filter is a saved configuration that defines:
Because List Filters are saved independently for each object, you can create multiple views tailored to different tasks without affecting other users.
There are two ways to create a List Filter in ValStorm. This guide focuses on creating one directly from a record view.

List Filters can be modified at any time.
To edit a List Filter:

Pinning a List Filter lets you define the default List Filter for an object while also customizing the records displayed in the Left Navigation Panel.
When you pin a List Filter:
Pinning List Filters allows you to tailor both your workspace and your navigation experience to match your daily workflow.
The Query Configuration section determines which records appear within your List Filter.
Rather than writing SQL manually, ValStorm provides a visual query builder.
The Query Configuration includes:

Determines how matching records are sorted.

Sorting can be either:
Limits the maximum number of records returned.
Skips a specified number of matching records before displaying results.
This is commonly used when paging through large collections of records.
Each List Filter stores display settings independently for every supported record view.
This allows the same collection of records to be presented differently depending on how you're working.

The List Fields setting determines which information appears for each record.
Table View displays records in a spreadsheet-style layout.
The Table Columns setting controls which columns are visible.
If no fields are selected, all available columns are displayed.
