Text Template Object

The Text Template object is where SMS templates are stored in Salesforce. You can create and manage your SMS templates here. They only require a name and body. The body is where you put the content of your SMS message. You can also use merge fields in the body to personalize your messages. Merge fields use the same syntax as described above: {!object.field_name}. Text Template Object

This action allows you to send an SMS message using a predefined Salesforce template. This is useful for maintaining consistency in messaging. send text template flow

Send a Bulk Text Message

This action allows you to send bulk SMS messages to multiple contacts or leads at once. This is useful for marketing campaigns or mass notifications.

Fields:

  • From Phone Number: The phone number that the SMS will be sent from. This must be a phone number that is configured in Valstorm.
  • Text Message: The content of the SMS message.
  • To Phone Numbers: A collection of phone numbers to send the SMS to. This should be a collection of text variables in Salesforce Flow.

Send a Bulk Text Message using a Salesforce Template

This action allows you to send bulk SMS messages using a predefined Salesforce template. This is useful for maintaining consistency in messaging for mass notifications.

Fields:

  • From Phone Number: The phone number that the SMS will be sent from. This must be a phone number that is configured in Valstorm.
  • Records Ids for Merge Fields: A collection of record IDs (Contacts or Leads) to use for merge fields in the template. This should be a collection of ID variables in Salesforce Flow.
  • Text Template Id: The Id of the valstorm__Text_Template__c record to use for the SMS message.
  • To Phone Numbers: A collection of phone numbers to send the SMS to. This should be a collection of text variables in Salesforce Flow.
